As part of the Format06 festival Mob Format is a constantly evolving gallery and online exhibition giving a global view of life today. To participate you can sign up at http://www.flickr.com/groups/mobformat/ to join the group.
Format is an international photography Festival in Derby UK, running from 22 September to 22 October 2006. It will feature exhibitions, debates, workshops, conference and events.
Each week during the festival a different subject will be posted as a discussion in the Mob Format group (if you sign up through the Format website www.formatfestival.com you will receive these via text message or email). You can then respond to the subject any way you wish, as many times as you like.
The best images will be printed out and displayed in a regularly updated exhibition at the FORMAT Information Centre Gallery.
We are collecting images for the opening exhibition now, the first subject is posted as a discussion above. So if you would like your work exhibited in an international photography festival submit photographs to the group now!
When posting images please include where they were taken. Images that are printed for exhibition will include the title of the image (if applicable), the location it was taken.
