After doing the documentary project for the drama - Alfonsia, I thought I could take a little break but the fact is not. I am recently doing a conceptual project which is dealing with the idea of Super City.
It is a hot topic in Auckland and it is about combining 4 city councils, 3 district councils and one regional council. The purpose of doing this is to simplify the complex governing systems, and break the boundaries among the cities and districts, ultimately making Auckland better and greater in terms of its structure.
I did an installation last semester and I thought I will no longer to this kind of 'funny' art at Unitec because of lack of space. Surprisingly, I'm literally making a conceptual art, and that's gonna be my first conceptual project. I am enjoying the process of making it, despite it is very tedious to WRITE 260 NAMES ON THE WALL.
