Well, the reason I'm writing this email is that I feel gutted and it is so unfair!
The reason that Mary didn't give the TVs to me because they are given to the master students who are going to show their works in the snow-white gallery!
How could I be informed on the Friday before the grad show? I'm sure Mary knew the master students are going to exhibit some video works! can't she let me know as early as possible? Maybe she is busy - fair enough!
I made request on 20th oct, a month before the show starts, and she replied me it should be ok! It ends up with those TVs are given to the master students! why is that? Maybe they booked it before me! - that's ok! But why she said it should be ok? So I'm sure I got the TV first.
She suggested me to go to hire the flat screen the TVs from Resolution AV! can't she ask the master students to hire?
She is worry about the security and she doesn't want to take the risk and lose the TVs, and I said we have security schedule to ensure the equipment are safe. then she asked me to bring the domestic home TV to the show!! what's that mean????
She also said the master students dont want to use projector because they have other works to show and don't want the house light off or the projected image too bright. Therefore they need to use tv screens! what about the degree students?
These above are not the reasons. they are excuses!
Why don't u just tell me that the request from master students is paramount?
