Nowadays Polaroid is different from the Polaroid that I knew. It doesn't produce instant film any more (discontinue the product line in Feb 2008). Its website is not selling its famous products but instead, mouse, earphones, TV antenna and so on can be found. When you think the Polaroid legacy is over, there is a miracle just happens.
A small tean of the 10 former Polaroid employees launched an company call "Impossible" , continued the 'instant ' legacy to reproduce the instant films for the Polaroid enthusiastics. Well, I've never had a Polaroid camera, but I glad that the instant films are reproduced. If I could possibly get a instant camera now, SX-70 would be my best option.
Other than that, the Impossible team will start to make large-format instant films such as 8x10 and 20x24.
