Since I graduated from high school, all of my mathematic knowledges have already returned to my teachers.

When I was doing my
Yuan Fen project, I used
probability and
statistics to further analyse Chance, even though I'm not good at maths. With my very limited knowledge of
probability and
statistics, the project ended up with a great supplemental information. I thought the best way to explain Chance is mathematics, didn't think it could also explain 'Forms'
What about putting the maths and its formula directly onto photographs?
I never thought about it.
Nikki Graziano is a photographer and mathematician, who apply the mathematic coordinate graphics and formulas onto her photographs. In her
Found Functions series, she not only uses maths to explain Form, also uses maths to rationalise a photographic decision. The photographs she uses are sentimental, but once she pastes the maths on, the work of art becomes very rational. I found her works are kind of suggesting that we are living in a self-contradicted situation where not every one could possibly know what's going. In fact, no one can live in an extreme sentimental or extreme rational situation.
