The hit rate of the original "Just A Dream" on youtube.com is 49million.
The hit rate of this Kurt version on youtube.com is 85million.
Why the "recreated" version's hit rate is higher than the original?
For me, similar to many people, I like the Kurt's version. There is nothing wrong with the Nelly's original MV, beautiful production with amazing computer graphics, and well edited with a store line. I guess it's because the Kurt's version has a better style in terms of the production. Two talented young songer chorus with their brilliant voices, which give an utterly soundly pleasure to the audience. Further more, the simplicity of the motion graphics is kind of amplifying the song. Frankly, I'm intrigued by the comics-like grid, and my eyes are non-stop following what's happening among the boxes. That's why I think the latter is better. Also, the kurt version has a better arrangement too.
