I love Old Spitalfields Market. Particularly like the this stall.
At the first glance, I thought they are just the banal items for sale. Then took a closer look... Oh COOL!!
The stall was selling the letters that used for the traditional printing. These letters, or alphabets if you like, have become treasures (at very least to me), due to they were knocked out by nowadays technology. In the past, no body would have a set of woodtype and a printing machine at home. But in the digitalised world, printing become an easy job, as long as you have a printer connected to your computer.
So These remained woodtypes are absolutely precious and become one of my collectable item. On that day, I bought my name's initials, which is 'r' and 't'.
