This is my new project which is approaching to the final stage.
This two-year project taken 85xx photographs, and has gone through 3 times of selection. Each time some of the pictures will be eliminated, only the greatest and best remain. And I guess the final stage of the selection is better to see on the actual prints. I'm excited about it.
In terms of the name, I'm thinking to name it "Idling", which has two meanings - of machine, not in use; of people, spend time doing nothing. This duo-meaning is exactly describing my photographs in this series.
I am going back to Auckland tonight to attend the commencement ceremony. I will take this opportunity to consult Alan McDonald and other tutors.
