A month ago, Richard Branson announced his new exploratory plan. This time it is not in the sky, but in the very deep sea with the DeepFlight Challenger (can dive 37,000 feet underwater).

"What if I were to tell you about a planet, inhabited by ‘intelligent’ beings that had, in the 21st Century, physically explored 0% of its deepest points and mapped only 3% of its oceans by unmanned craft, when 70% of that planet’s surface was made up of water. Then I tried to convince you that only 10% of the life forms inhabiting that unknown world, are known to those on the surface – you’d think I’d fallen asleep watching the latest sci-fi blockbuster! Then you discover that planet is Earth...   " said Richard on his blog.

Indeed! How much do you know about the water world? Definitely not much for myself.

Recently a "Deep Sea Photographer" Alexander Semenov came across. In fact, he is marine biologist
from Russia, who passionate about the "alien world" as well as photography. Some of the creatures he photographed in the sea are quite rare and unique because the location is in the icy depths of the far northern sea. "The entire area behind the polar circle is very difficult to reach, and utterly uncomfortable to dive in, so very few people brave the icy depths." Said Alexander in his interview.
