I'm very excited these days. Why? Because I'm gonna move to a new apartment soon. Just been busy with looking around the furniture shops everywhere, and my brain is filled with lots of inspirations.
I had a serendipity while visiting different furniture shops in Wanchi area. On the Wing Fung Street, there is an
agnès b.’s gallery which is currently exhibiting "
A IS GREEN R IS RED" by
Lio Yeung. The exhibition is based on a topic of Synesthesia, (If a person who has synesthesia, he/she will see a particular color when reading or hearing a particular word or sound.) and somehow I got a feeling of looking at El Lissitzky's artworks. I really like the way how Lio uses the components of Constructivism , mixing up with Op Art from the 60's and "Optical Illusion", to produce a variety of "Imposible Object". By viewing Lio's artworks, you will feel how a synesthete see thing, even though you don't have a synesthesia.
