I just found out how the interesting theory of dot, line and surface apply to artwork with contemporary approaches!
Yesterday, I wrote about two pointillism masters
Eric Daigh with
Miguel Endara, which represent "
Dots".
This year January, I wrote about
Max Zorn's graffiti tape art, who represents "
surface".
How about "
lines" ?
Juan Francisco CASAS has a clear explanation, with a ballpoint pen.

Juan's lomographical images are not merely reveal his transformational sketching technique, but also intending to arouse everyone's voyeuristic lust. The subjects usually are someone taking photographs, nude or half-naked person and people with punked faces. Plus the colour of blue ball-pan and direct-light flash, producing high-contrast lomography-like images.

One thing really amazed me is that the blue-tuned images are similar to the IKB (
International Klevin Blue), which imprints a lot more meditative qualities onto the surface and the artwork itself.

There is another ballpoint-pen artist -
Samuel Silva. She works are stunning too.
